Iraq 2024
After spending September excavating at Tell Surezha and exploring around Erbil, Rasha and I went south into Federal Iraq to see cities both old (Uruk, Babylon, Ur, Nineveh) and new (Baghdad, Mosul) that I had long dreamed of visiting. In addition to visiting fabulous southern Iraq, we also had an extended stopover in Mosul to join a joint University of Toronto/University of Chicago archaeological project.
