Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan 2024: Nukus to Aktau by Train
Our final leg of the journey across Uzbekistan by train involved a 24 hour run from Nukus, the capital of semi-autonomous Karakalpakstan, across the far western reaches of the country and the border to the Caspian Sea port city of Aktau in Kazakhstan.
